Anchors for Refractory
Anchors have several functions. They hold the refractory to the wall to keep it from falling in. They also prevent wall buckling due to the internal thermal stresses created by high temperatures. In addition, to a lesser degree, anchors can help support the load of the refractory weight. Gulf Refractory recommends and supplies all type of anchors needed as per requirement.
Castable Anchors

Brick Anchors

Support Brackets

Support brackets are used when the walls of the furnace are high.This enables to spread the weight on the refractory which reduces the risk of deterioration of the wall. They are also often placed around doors or < openings > to reinforce the refractory on top.
Anchors for fibers
